What postage provider do we use?

All orders are shipped with Australia Post (Australia-wide & International).

Where is my Order posted from?

Majority of orders are dispatched to you from our warehouse in Melbourne, Australia.

However, from time to time, some items my only be available from one of our flagship stores.  You will not be charged for 2 seperate deliveries.

Please refer tacking notification to see where your parcel is being despatched from.

Can I use a Post Office Box?

Yes, however the Post Office will leave a card for you to sign before receiving your parcel.

Will I receive Tracking notification?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number so that you can track your order.  If you have multiple parcels you will receive multiple tacking numbers.

Will I be required to sign for my parcel?

Yes, a signature is required on delivery for all parcels.

Can I authorise for my parcel to be left, if unattended?

Authorisation to leave your parcel should no one be home is not recommended.  Petit Bateau Australia will not be held responsible for missing parcels once delivered.

Can I organise for my order to be delivered to a different address?

Yes, when you place your order you are required to enter a delivery address.  The delivery address can be different from your account address.  Invoices will not be included in your parcel, only a packing slips.

What happens if I'm not home when the parcel is delivered?

If you are not home when your parcel is being delivered, Australia Post will send you either an email or sms informing you that your parcel is at your local Post Office.

Your local Post Office has the right to return your parcel to Petit Bateau Australia at their discretion. Petit Bateau Australia is not responsible for the length of time the Post Office will hold your parcel.

In the event your parcel is returned to Petit Bateau Australia, an additional postage & handling fee will be charged for the parcel to be re-sent.

International Deliveries

Petit Bateau Australia recommends that you place your order from the country you wish the parcel to be delivered.  In the event that you wish to order from the Australian website, depending on the destination, some International orders may incur additional customs duties & taxes.  These fees are to be paid by the receiver of the order.  Please be mindful of this when purchasing your products or sending a gift.
