Returns & Exchanges

We understand that sometimes your purchase is not what you were expecting, and the size selected is incorrect. We are therefore happy to provide an exchange or credit note on full priced items.
Postage costs are not refundable and will be deducted from Invoiced amount.
We do not refund for change of mind, a credit note will be issued if you cannot exchange for another item(s).
Petit Bateau Australia will provide an exchange or credit note for full priced items that adhere to the Terms and Conditions – Exchange or Returns.

A RESISTANT GARMENT
The mesh of our clothes is very tight to withstand the life of a child, and very often, that of their brothers and sisters, cousins, friends!
On each of the baby and child sizes under four years old:
- We place bar tacks on the most stressed seams to avoid any risk of tearing.
- The buttons are machine sewn and resist a tensile strength of 7 kg. Impossible for children to tear them off or swallow them.
AN EASY TO CARE GARMENT
Pre-washing of our clothes in the factory to avoid unpleasant surprises at the first wash, battery of quality tests... all means are put in place to ensure that our t-shirts do not shrink, that the pressures of the bodysuits do not move, that the colour does not bleed wash after wash.
RESPECT THE HIGHEST QUALITY STANDARDS
At Petit Bateau, we make no compromise on quality: each of our products is subject to strict controls at all stages of its manufacturing, and even afterwards! 19 tests are carried out on the garment throughout the production chain to test and re-test their resistance over time.
Obviously, we consider that quality clothing is also clothing that does not contain any products harmful to health. This is why we have chosen to follow the requirements of the OEKO-TEX 100® label. In 2020, 75% of the products in our collections are labeled.
